Updated review : Ordered second time, but this time biryani was uncooked and not tasty. Disappointed. Therefore reducing to 2 stars from 5 stars.
Shaadi Biryani is a must-visit! The Hyderabadi Chicken Biryani and Mixed Meat Platter were absolutely delicious, with amazing quantity that's perfect for sharing. The servers were very nice and welcoming. I also love that you can enjoy Tea Time Anytime in the same restaurant--the chai is always spot on, and the Dubai Chocolate Cheesecake is a real treat. Great food, great service, and great vibes!
This Sunday afternoon, I visited Shahi Biryani, and it instantly felt like home. With ample parking and hardly any crowd, the setting was ideal for a relaxed Hyderabadi feast. We started with Chicken 65 and butter naan. The Chicken 65 arrived sizzling hot, in a large portion that was juicy, flavorful, and absolutely mouth-watering. The butter naans were soft, fluffy, and the perfect companion. The star of the meal was the Hyderabadi mutton biryani. Every grain of rice was "ghee mei luttputt," rich, aromatic, and bursting with flavor. The mutton was tender and melt-in-the-mouth, cooked to perfection. It was indulgent enough to make you joke about rising cholesterol levels--but worth every bite. Shahi's biryani can easily give takkar (serious competition) to the top Hyderabadi restaurants in Chicago. If you're craving authentic flavors and a touch of home, this place is a must-visit.
The food came out super quick! The Goat Haleem was very tasty(we finished it mins after it came out). The Mutton Biryani was on the blander side BUT the meat was super tender!!
Authentic indian food. We ordered both vegetarian and non-vegetarian items like garlic naan, butter paneer, veg biryani, goat biryani, chicken curry, mango lassi. Taste wise, it was one of the best indian restaurants in the USA. It seemed like they made everything fresh and that added to the experience. As they are making things fresh so you might have to wait for some time for ordered food to arrive at your table. The food is a bit more oily compared to other indian restaurants.
