Great Food, But Major Comfort Issues I recently (Sept 30) visited this cafe, and I have mixed feelings. First, the positive: the food was genuinely good. The kitchen clearly knows what they're doing, and the dishes were tasty and well-prepared. However, the dining environment was extremely poor. The indoor seating area was uncomfortably hot because the air conditioning was not working. To make matters worse, the ventilation system/extractor fan also seemed to be broken, causing smoke from the kitchen to drift heavily into the main dining area. It was so bad that we had to ask if we could move our table outside to the parking lot and sit in the shade just to finish our meal. Another significant issue was with the drinks. The beverages had a distinct, noticeable smell of chlorine. I'm not sure if this is due to the water source or a problem with the drink dispensing machine, but it was off-putting. Overall, while the quality of the food is a real draw, the unbearable heat, smoke, and chemical smell in the drinks made for a very uncomfortable experience. I hope the management fixes the AC and ventilation soon, as well as investigates the water/drink issue, because right now, the poor environment overshadows the great cooking. I can only recommend this place if these comfort and cleanliness issues are resolved.

Crazy good burger joint. Everything we got was delicious: bumper burger, Chicago dog, polish dog, seasoned fries, chopped cheese. All halal too Maybe the dogs needed more mustard but that's it. The quality of the meat on all of it is top notch. Highly recommend this spot!

We ordered a chicken sandwich, and got to know they changed their packaging since slaw burger took bumper's original packaging. 3 stars only because the burger was salty and they need to fix their exhaust. It was too smoky inside when I walked in to pick up my food. Thank you for the acknowledgement on my review. Since you did, here's the 5 star for you. Also Lombard location is much better than Naperville in service.

I usually avoid leaving negative reviews for Muslim-owned businesses, but I even tried speaking politely with the drive-thru staff about this issue. I genuinely enjoy Bumper 2 Burger--the food is tasty, and I love the convenience of the drive-thru. I often order the chicken poppers along with fries or a hot dog. However, over the past few months, the portions have gotten noticeably smaller, and today was the last straw. I ordered chicken poppers only and asked the staff to please give a reasonable amount since it keeps getting less each visit. Instead, they gave me even less than before. This isn't just about the chicken poppers - it's across the menu. I understand inflation and the cost of halal meat, but this has gone from understandable to unacceptable. It's frustrating to pay that kinda money for what feels like 10 tiny nuggets (photos attached). I really wanted to keep coming back, but at this point, I can only leave this review so others are aware and this place can hopefully start caring about customer feedback.
