We had one of the most heartwarming dining experiences here! We visited without knowing that you have to order Mandi in advance. When we learned this, we were about to leave disappointed--especially because it was my friend's birthday and he had already faced a string of bad restaurant experiences that day. As we were walking out, the owner himself stopped us outside and asked why we were leaving. We explained the situation, and without hesitation, he asked if we would be okay waiting a bit. He then went out of his way to personally prepare Mandi for us, even though it wasn't pre-ordered. The wait was completely worth it--the Mandi was flavorful, aromatic, and cooked to perfection. But what truly stood out was the kindness, hospitality, and genuine care we experienced. The owner made sure we were comfortable, checked on us often, and made the whole dinner feel special. Thanks to him, my friend's birthday turned around completely. This place is not just about great food--it's about people who truly care about their customers. My friend's birthday is coming up again soon, and we will 100% be coming back here to celebrate! Highly recommend!
It's sooper Masala time ;). I ordered Hyderabadi Biriyani and it was really spicy for me. Probably I ordered it late afternoon. Outside of the spice factor, the food was great. Courteous and welcoming staff, nice ambience.
After a long day of traveling, my friend and I got to the restaurant around 7 p.m. We ordered Chicken Lollipop, Kodi Vepudu, and Amravathi Chicken Biryani. About 30 minutes in, we were told the Chicken Lollipop wasn't available, so we switched to Chicken 65. By the time our food finally arrived, it had been more than 45 minutes. But the food was totally worth it. Every dish was packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The server was also super helpful and recommended some great dishes to try, which made the experience even better. The only real downside was the long wait, but if you've got the patience, the food definitely makes up for it!
From the moment you exit the car, you know (hope) this gonna be good. They didn't disappoint. In fact, it was amazing! Some of the deepest, richest, most authentic S. Indian flavors I've had anywhere. Only open for two months, they can make better use of the interior space. It's a bit rustic with deep teal walls and wood tables, brightened by shimmering silver-toned water pitchers and asymmetrical-shape plates. The house special veg curry with mushrooms had such deep curry flavor, an interesting blend of spices I've not had, and far from an ordinary blend. I loved how the little mushrooms they used added a good toothsome texture. My father enjoyed his soup. I don't recall the name, but for my preference, it had way too much oil. One bite into the garlic Naan confirmed this place knew what they were doing. It had the right amount of softness, crispness, and garlic flavor. Outstanding. Will be my go-to. I look forward to trying the buffet, although I read veg options are limited. Oh, and our server, Gilgan, is a sweetheart.
visited Masala House for the first time and overall it was not bad. Most of the food was delicious--especially the pav bhaji, which I absolutely loved. They also had a great deal going on, which made the visit feel even more worthwhile. The customer service was friendly, though I did have a slightly awkward moment where one of the staff members stared at me for a bit before approaching to help. It wasn't a big issue, but it stood out. The only food item I was disappointed with was the panipuri--the stuffing was too little, which made it feel underwhelming compared to the rest of the meal. If you look closer at the picture I think you can tell. One important point I want to mention is about the halal status. Before visiting, I called to confirm and was told everything is halal. However, there was no visible signage, menu indication, or certificate in the restaurant to confirm this. For those who specifically seek halal food, this might be concerning. Overall it was not bad, but I hope they clarify the halal status more transparently and maybe work on improving the panipuri. If you pay cash you get 7 percent off
